Universiy Interscholastic League is the governing agency in Texas which regulate the amount of hours each Band member may rehearse.  Each year in the fall we participate in the UIL Marching Competition.  In 2002, Lewisville High School Band advanced to the State level for the first time.

Bands of America is the premier Marching Band Competition.  Bands of America competitions are held throughout the country.  Regional competitions are held in many states each year with a Grand National event held in Indiana.
